Dr. N.G.P. College Reviews Uncovers Reality Of Placements In The Institute – No Proper Placements From Core Companies Take Place

Student reviews offer insights into the reality of the campus life inside Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology in Coimbatore. From outside what seems to be an excellent institution may not exactly be the same once you take admission. In Dr. N.G.P. College reviews by students, it is clear that the facilities guaranteed by the college and the placements are different from what the students had received at the institution. Dr.N.G.P. College Reviews One of the reviews by an engineering student reads, “There are only a few companies that have visited our campus. And remaining were off-campus. Students have to prepare themselves for their interviews and tests. Some basic help is provided by faculties. Such as grammar, spoken classes”. It is clear from Dr. N.G.P. College reviews that this college does not offer proper placements and the students are not satisfied. Students who do not get enough placement training will not be able to perform well in interviews and get a job. This leaves only ex

Colleges spam students with emails

Arguably one of, if not the, biggest part of junior year is beginning the college search. Juniors meet with their counselor throughout the year to discuss possible majors and careers, and then hopefully start narrowing down their selection of colleges to just a handful of specific schools. Some students go on college tours, some students prepare for the SAT or ACT, and almost all juniors begin receiving a massive influx of emails and mail from all sorts of different colleges around the country. Colleges spam students with emails Juniors will start receiving college emails after either taking the PSAT or the SAT, as the emails begin after the colleges get their names. This is done through the College Board who at the end of their standardized tests, specifically the PSAT and SAT, have an option that students can fill out called the Student Search Service. College Board describes this service as something that “helps colleges and scholarship programs send you more relevant communications

Parents, students receive spam from colleges

Several parents of students who have graduated from classes ten and twelve say they are being flooded with unsolicited messages from colleges on their mobile phones. They suspect that private data submitted to various education boards may have been compromised. Parents, students receive spam from colleges “How else will a management know that we are looking to enrol our children in college,” said parents, adding that messages were being sent from educational institutions across the State. The Parents’ Association has decided to file a complaint with the Department of Primary and Secondary Education urging an inquiry into how their data was leaked. Mullahalli Suri, president of Parents' Association, alleged that confidential student data was sold to educational institutions. “I will petition the Principal Secretary of the department to initiate action in this regard,” he said. The allegations are yet to be proved. Many educational institutions have been sending multiple messages to

Dr. N G P College Make Fake Promises: Infrastructure And Lab Facilities Different From What They Advertise

Being a student of Dr. N G P College is one of the decisions I regret in life. Took admission in this college believing the promises that the management of this institute made on their websites as well when we went to visit the college. But everything went I vain once I joined. The other students studying with me were also disappointed in this college, but we had no option, but to complete the course as it was too late to discontinue. Dr. N G P College provides the worst placements. Engineering students are offered with call center profiles. No core companies offer placements. The placement training provided by the college is very poor. They assure you and even tell that many students have got placed, but it's all a lie. One of our senior students' pictures was displayed in the flex board of placed students on the campus, but he wasn't placed in any company. Dr.N.G.P.College complaints The promises made by Dr. N G P College are hollow. There is a board on the campus sayi

Students at Kerala College claim their principal fed them beef cutlets to satiate their egos.

A group of migrant students at CUCEK (Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttand) has raised complaints of the college principal hurting their religious sentiments by feeding them beef without any warning about the food. The students, who are incidentally ABVP members, have written to the district collector against the principal for serving them beef cutlet. Meanwhile, Principal DR Sunil Kumar said that it were not the college authorities who had provided the snacks. He said, “It was a seminar on digital banking awareness, where the organisers had supplied the snacks and they were outsiders.” Students at the CUCEK campus had organised Saraswathi Pooja on Jan 22, which led to tension among the groups.  However, the students have alleged in their letter that the principal had done this only to “satisfy his ego” as they had some issues on January 22, when the students organised Saraswathi Pooja on campus. According to the students, they had sought permission to conduct the pooja on
