DU Admission 2023: The three courses include BTech Computer Science and Engineering, BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, and BTech Electrical Engineering. DU BTech Admission 2023 DU Admission 2023: The University of Delhi will introduce three BTech programmes from the upcoming 2023–24 academic session. The programmes will commence with a capacity of total 360 students who will be admitted to three engineering courses through JEE Mains. The three courses which will be conducted by the Faculty of Technology are BTech Computer Science and Engineering, BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, and BTech Electrical Engineering. A proposal in the matter will be presented before the university’s Executive Council on Friday, the official told PTI, adding the university received approval from the Ministry of Education in April for the creation of 72 teaching and 48 non-teaching posts for the new programmes. 4 medical colleges in Kerala in a spot of bother after NMC denies permission to admit students Thrissur: Admission to 450 MBBS seats across four medical colleges in Kerala for the upcoming academic year has been temporarily put on hold. The institutions faced action after they had failed to meet the medical commission guidelines in a inspection. Now the colleges have to fix the issues and get a clearance in the upcoming inspection, before admitting students. The permission to admit students was denied by the Under Graduate Medical Education Board which functions under the National Medical Commission. The restriction has been imposed on Sree Gokulam Medical College in Venjaramoodu, Jubilee Mission Medical College in Thrissur, and Dr. CSI Somervell Medical College and Sree Uthradom Thirunal Academy of Medical Sciences in Thiruvananthapuram. In 2019 and 2020, the university had featured in the university rank band of 101–150 In 2016 and 2021, the university had found its place among the top 100 universities of the country. In 2016, MSU had received its best ever ranking when it was ranked at 76th position when the NIRF rankings were declared for the first time. About 100 more medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Assam, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry and West Bengal may also face similar action, they said on Tuesday. The colleges were not found to be complying with the set norms and several lapses related to CCTV cameras, Aadhaar-linked biometric attendance procedures and faculty rolls were found during inspections carried out by the Commission, an official source said.
